Description
The Theme Deck Pirates from Magic: The Gathering – Lorwyn Eclipsed: a ready-to-play deck of 60 cards in blue and red, built so you can start playing right away.
What's in the box
- 1 ready-to-play deck of 60 cards
- 5 non-foil double-sided tokens (Map // Treasure)
- 1 double-sided reference card
- 1 strategy insert
How the deck plays
This deck rewards you for discarding cards. Creatures like Marauding Mako and Scrounging Skyray grow bigger the more you throw away, and Captain Howler and Inti turn that discarding into an advantage instead of a loss. So you play generously rather than conservatively — and that's exactly what makes it fun to start with.
Who it's for
Theme Decks are the simplest way to get into the game: no deckbuilding, no buying single cards, just open the box and play. Two of these decks against each other already make for a solid game. Want to go deeper afterward? Commander is the next step.
From the same set: the Commander decks Dance of the Elements and Blight Curse, and the Lorwyn Eclipsed Bundle.
