What a Title Booster is
Alongside the regular Vanguard sets, Bushiroad also makes Title Boosters: sets that release a different story from the same publisher as Vanguard cards. Here that's Future Card Buddyfight, Bushiroad's own card game. So these are Vanguard cards to play with, featuring Buddyfight characters.
How Cardfight!! Vanguard works
You play a vanguard, your main unit, which rides during the match: you place a stronger unit over the previous one, growing step by step. There's no mana or resource — what you can play depends on how far you've climbed. You lose at six damage.
