Endless Winter: Paleoamericans
Endeloze Winter: Paleoamericans takes place in North America, around 10,000 BC. Players guide the development of their tribes through different generations—from nomadic hunter-gatherers to prosperous tribal societies. Throughout the game, tribes migrate, settle in new areas, develop cultural traditions, hunt paleolithic megafauna, and build everlasting megalithic structures.
Endless Winter is a euro-style game that innovatively combines worker placement and deck building. Each round, players send their tribe members to different action spaces and pay for the actions by playing cards and using resources. Tribe cards provide extra labor, while Culture cards offer a variety of unique effects. Alternatively, cards can be saved for the Eclipse phase at the end of the round. In this phase, cards are revealed simultaneously to determine the new player order and activate various bonus actions.
The game offers a unique mix of intertwined systems and mechanisms, such as multifunctional cards, area influence, tile placement, and set collection. Moreover, there are many different strategies to win. After four quick rounds, the scores are tallied, and the tribe with the most points wins!
