How the deck plays
The Abzan build walls and turn them into weapons. This deck plays creatures with high toughness — often with defender, so creatures that don't actually attack — and then converts that defensive value into damage. Your opponent looks at a board that seems harmless, until it suddenly attacks.
What Tarkir: Dragonstorm is about
Tarkir is the world of five clans — Abzan, Jeskai, Sultai, Mardu and Temur — who have been fighting each other for generations, and of the dragons that fly straight through it all. In this set, the ancient spirit dragons awaken, and that changes the balance of power: the clans must choose whether to keep fighting each other or survive the storm together.
There are five Commander decks in this set, one per clan: Abzan Armor (this deck), Jeskai Striker, Sultai Arisen, Mardu Surge and Temur Roar. Single packs are available as Play Booster.
