Description
A ready-to-play Commander deck from Magic: The Gathering's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles release: Turtle Power!, playable straight out of the box.
How Commander works
Commander is the most popular way to play Magic, and it works differently from the rest. Your deck counts 100 cards, each of which may appear only once, and you choose one legendary creature as your commander. That one sits apart and you can replay it every time it dies, just for two more mana each time. So you build your deck around one character, and that character is always there.
Why it's usually played with four people
You start at forty life instead of twenty, and that's no accident: Commander is made for tables of three or four players. Games run longer, alliances form and fall apart, and the cards that excel here aren't the same ones that excel in a duel.
Why a pre-built deck
Building a Commander deck takes time and a hundred different cards. A box like this skips that step: it's balanced, ready to play immediately, and meant for casual games rather than tournaments. For anyone who wants to try Commander without building a collection first, this is the shortest route to the table.
