Description
The Commander deck Living Energy from Magic: The Gathering – Aetherdrift is ready to play straight out of the box. It's led by Saheeli, Radiant Creator and plays red, green and blue — the Temur colors.
What's in the box
- 1 ready-to-play Commander deck of 100 cards, including 10 cards that have never appeared before
- 2 traditional foil legendary creatures with borderless artwork
- 10 double-sided tokens
- 1 Collector Booster Sample Pack with 2 cards
- 1 deck box for 100 sleeved cards
- 1 strategy insert and 1 reference card
How the deck plays
This deck is all about energy counters: you store up energy and then spend it all at once to make your artifact creatures much bigger. It's a deck that rewards patience and hits hardest in the late stages of a game. Besides Saheeli, you can also choose Pia Nalaar, Chief Mechanic as commander.
Who it's for
Commander is usually played with four players at once. A precon like this one is meant to let you join in right away: there's nothing extra to buy, and you play with a deck that's already finished. Energy is also a mechanic you pick up fast — count it and spend it, that's really all there is to it.
The other Aetherdrift deck is Eternal Might. To sleeve your deck, there are Gamegenic Matte Prime sleeves.
