Bulbasaur uit de Japanse Expansion Sheet-reeks. Deze kaarten werden in 1998 in Japan verkocht via automaten: je kreeg een vel waar je de kaarten zelf van af pelde. Bulbasaur staat op vel 3 van de eerste serie, die op 23 maart 1998 verscheen, en is getekend door Sumiyoshi Kizuki. De kaarten zijn gedrukt op glanzend karton, anders dan het matte karton van de gewone sets.
