Description
Azul (NL/FR)
WINNER OF THE DUTCH GAME AWARD FAMILY 2018! NOMINATED FOR TOY OF THE YEAR 2018! Azulejos (originally white and blue ceramic tiles) are an invention of the Moors. Their decoration catches the eye of the Portuguese king Manuel I during his visit to the Alhambra, in the south of Spain. He is so impressed by the fabulous beauty of the Moorish decorations inside the Alhambra that he has his own Evora palace in Portugal decorated with similar tiles. In the tactical game Azul, it's up to the players to beautify the walls of the royal palace in Evora on the king's orders. Form patterns, adorn the palace walls, score the most points and win!
