In the Pokémon Trading Card Game, many attacks and Trainer cards have effects that only happen if you flip heads. That's what a coin is for, and one comes standard with every theme deck, every collection, and every blister pack. Officially licensed coins are allowed at tournaments; a regular euro coin is not.
About Erika
Erika is the Gym Leader of Celadon City in the Kanto region and a Grass-type specialist — one of the eight Gym Leaders from the very first games. In Ascended Heroes she returns with her own collection built around Tangela. A coin featuring a Trainer instead of a Pokémon is also unusual; most coins show a Pokémon.

Mega Evolution — Ascended Heroes released on January 30, 2026 and, with 295 cards, is the largest English-language Pokémon expansion ever. The set is built around Pokémon Legends: Z-A and includes thirteen Mega Evolution Pokémon ex.
