Akropolis Athena is an expansion for the base game Akropolis, set in the ancient Mediterranean where architects compete to build the most prestigious cities. The theme revolves around winning the favor of Athena, the goddess of wisdom, war and crafts, in order to gather wealth and honor.
In this game, players must use their skills to complete specific Construction cards by building layouts within their city that match the cards.
When players complete these cards, they can collect parts of the Statue of Athena and obtain Mini-tiles to improve their city.
The goal is to build your city strategically while completing the Construction cards to earn extra points and advantages.
The game combines the core rules of the AKROPOLIS base game with the added challenge of completing Construction cards.
Each architect can complete each Construction card only once and must carefully manage their resources and placements to score the maximum number of points.
The game ends when only one tile remains on the Construction Site and all stacks have been used up. Points are counted in the usual way,
but players who have completed the full Statue of Athena earn extra points for their Stones, adding an extra strategic layer to the game.
The ultimate goal is to have the most prestigious city at the end of the game, as determined by the total number of points scored.

4 Statue sections: The Statue of Athena is divided into four parts: head, torso, shield and feet. Players build this statue as they complete construction objectives.
