Hoarding Dragon represents the archetypal idea of a dragon hoarding treasures, in this case, a precious artifact from your library. Its abilities provide an interesting gameplay dynamic. On one hand, it lets you tutor for any artifact in your deck, but you can't immediately use it. Instead, the artifact is held "captive" until the dragon is slain, adding a layer of strategy to the game. Do you hold back with the dragon to keep a potentially game-changing artifact out of your opponent's hands, or do you send it into combat, risking its life to potentially unlock the power you've stored away?
